The following organizations from our community will be offering classes on the EBIA campus or at separate locations during after school hours, for free or an additional fee paid directly to the organization. Families sign up directly with the organization--links to third party websites are listed here.  As the student's after school time will be administered by EBIA staff you must choose first choose a Subscription in order to utilize these classes. As space is limited, please select only one.

Clefology @ EBIA's Quest For 10-weeks!!
 
In the vocal music class, students are immersed in singing and vocal performance. The course typically covers various vocal techniques, including breath control, pitch, tone, and vocal range expansion. Students are exposed to various music genres and styles, such as pop, jazz, and musical theater, enabling them to explore their vocal abilities across different genres. The class may involve group singing exercises, solo performances, and opportunities to collaborate with other musicians, fostering a supportive and creative learning environment. Throughout the course, students receive individualized feedback from the instructor to help them refine their vocal skills and develop their unique voices.

In the guitar music class, students delve into the art of playing the guitar, developing both technical skills and musical understanding. The class covers fundamental aspects such as finger placement, strumming techniques, chord progressions, scales, and music theory relevant to the guitar. Students are exposed to various music genres, from pop, rock, and blues to folk, allowing them to explore their musical preferences and broaden their playing repertoire. The class often involves both individual and group activities, providing opportunities for students to collaborate and perform together, enhancing their overall musicianship and confidence on the guitar.

In the keyboard music class, students are introduced to the captivating world of playing the keyboard or piano. They learn essential techniques such as hand positioning, fingering, and note reading, building a strong foundation for their musical journey. The class includes an exploration of various musical styles, from pop to jazz and blues, allowing students to develop a well-rounded appreciation for keyboard music. Throughout the course, students engage in practical exercises and interactive lessons, enabling them to build their playing skills and interpret musical pieces with expression and creativity. The keyboard music class provides a supportive and encouraging environment for students to nurture their passion for music and unlock their full potential as keyboardists.

that’s what makes Cooking Round the World after school classes so much fun! 

Semester One- 10 classes 
International Fast Food

EBIA students are invited to join our fun and delicious after school culinary classes!  Classes include cooking and eating 2 dishes each class, a cooking demonstration, and a trivia game. Classes limited to 12. Class meets in the teacher lounge.

Did you know McDonald’s adapts its menu according to the country it’s in? In Japan you can get a teriyaki McMuffin; in France you can order a Honey McMustard Veggie Sandwich; You can drink a Plum Peach Chiller in Korea, or eat a McIbérica burger from Spain. This class will recreate these international fast food from McDonald’s.

   Health and safety protocol is strictly adhered to; classes limited to 12 kids. There are No nuts in any recipe.
